The Peer School Campus is a new school site for 1,000 pupils aged from two-and-a-half to eighteen. The construction project, covering more than 16,900 m², includes a new-build for the elementary level Vrije Basisschool that all primary school children will attend from now on. This building was also provided with two multifunctional halls and a gym. The secondary school got a new-build that accommodates classrooms and subject rooms for 750 pupils. A boarding school building with 70 rooms was also erected for them, with considerable attention devoted to creating a homely look and feel. A true sports complex was created at the campus with a sports hall of 3,000 m² and three large games fields. The entire project was designed by Bekkering Adams Architects, with construction and maintenance handled by STRABAG Belgium nv – Ed. Zublin AG.
