The building Woluwe Gate is located on the corner of avenue de Tervuren and boulevard de la Woluwe, two of the city’s most prestigious avenues. Avenue de Tervuren leads straight into the European Quarter, whilst boulevard de Woluwe connects to the Ring road and to Brussels National airport, passing by the upscale Woluwe Shopping Centre.
The Woluwe Gate is also conveniently located, with easy to access to public transport, main thoroughfares, and amenities. There are three are bus and tram lines right outside the front door, including a direct connection to Montgomery metro station just 1.8 km further down the road, with links to the entire city metro and rail network. The Ring road is just four minutes away, and the airport no more than a 10 minute drive. And, for added convenience, Woluwe Gate has its own private 122-space car park.
In the words of the architect from ASSAR ARCHITECTS: "Inspired by simplicity and elegance, my design is deliberately sober, with neutral tones and unobtrusive materials. I wanted the building to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding urban environment and park areas. Simple volumes that maximise the use of space, fluidity, large windows that let in plenty of natural light… the end result is distinctively contemporary yet timeless, calming but not ascetic."
