The future administrative center for the City of Brussels
AG Real Estate is currently developing the new administrative center for the City of Brussels.
The design is made by architects Atelier Bruno Albert, Archi+I en Pierre Lallemand. The building will be built on the site of the former Parking 58.
The building will span 37 200 m2 (of which 33 500 m2 available to rent) over 9 floors. The complex will house forty service counters. A total of 1800 public servants will move into the building.
The four subterranean levels (22 500 m2) will house 109 parking spots reserved for the City personnel, a bicycle parking with 176 spots, a public parking managed by Interparking with 450 spots and a surface of 1 500 m2 for the archives.
Construction works will run from January 2017 until December 2020. Brucity will be fully operational by the first trimester of 2021.
The Brucity project responds to the EPB-norms of 2016. The project aims to keep its environmental footprint and energy consumption to a strict minimum. The site is awarded the BREEAM-label "Very Good" under the qualification system for Offices 2013.
